Victim: 27-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot in Double Fatal Incident on Milwaukee’s North Side
MILWAUKEE, WI — June 18, 2025 — A tragic shooting has claimed the lives of two individuals on Milwaukee’s north side, as police continue to investigate a disturbing incident that unfolded Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 4:29 p.m., officers responded to a home in the 3200 block of N. 42nd Street, between Auer and Concordia Avenues, following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, authorities discovered that a 27-year-old man had sustained a fatal gunshot wound. The suspect, a 22-year-old woman, was also found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the incident occurred during an argument inside the home. The woman is believed to have fired the weapon, which struck the male victim and resulted in her own fatal injury. No other individuals were harmed.
Detectives worked late into the evening, moving in and out of the residence as they collected evidence and spoke with witnesses. People at the scene told reporters that the two deceased individuals were believed to be related to someone associated with the home.
